Well Heeled is a private foot health practice run by Catherine Nelson, L.D Dip RFHP, based at Lockerbie Old School — a beautiful, calm environment a world away from busy hospital corridors. Whether you're dealing with a persistent problem or just want your feet looked after properly, you'll find professional, unhurried care here.

Every appointment begins with a proper assessment. Treatment is always individual — there are no one-size-fits-all solutions in foot care. You'll leave with a clear understanding of your feet and a plan that works for you.

Routine nail trimming, hard skin, corns, and callus removal. Regular maintenance keeps your feet comfortable and healthy.

Nails trimmed, shaped & buffed, removal of corns, callus & verrucas, moisturise and massage.

Sensi Pedi
A luxurious treatment to nourish, soften and restore dry, cracked or sensitive skin — warm soak, exfoliation, and a relaxing massage.

Diabetic Foot Care
Detailed foot assessment checking sensation, pulses, temperature & colour — preventative foot care and ongoing monitoring.

Verruca Treatment
Assessment, debridement and a course of treatment. Corn and callus care is included in a routine appointment.

Specialist non-surgical treatment to relieve discomfort and reduce pressure, whilst supporting the natural growth of the nail.

Biomechanics
Gait analysis and lower limb assessment. Custom orthotic insoles prescribed where appropriate.

Reflexology
A calming, therapeutic treatment focused on pressure points in the feet — promotes relaxation and general wellbeing.

Ear Wax Removal
A separately qualified service, outside standard foot health scope. Two appointments — an initial assessment, then removal once the wax has softened.
